Brand new SPC LiPo packs, now with 2C charge potential and 20C discharge rates. Available in 5000mAh and 8000mAh in 2S and 3S configurations. Retail prices include Traxxas female connector and are as follows:

5000mAh/20C/2S LiPo $48.95 ea.

8000mAh/20C/2S LiPo $72.95 ea.

5000mAh/20C/3S LiPo $69.95 ea.

8000mAh/20C/3S LiPo $108.95 ea.

Packs are slightly shorter in length and the wire/pigtails now exit the packs vertically, which allows a better fit in many ground-based, RC vehicles . Nice 12 gauge leads with Traxxas connector (Deans available) & JST-XH (Align-type) balancing connector. Please contact Glenwood, Fields Hobby or myself at SPC for more details.

What is the difference between
5000mAh/20C/2S LiPo $48.95 ea.
&
5000mAh/20C/2S LiPo $108.95 ea. ?

Besides double the price.

Hey guys Smile Question!? Just received my first lipos today. I purchased 2 of the 5000mah 2s 20c. Anyway, I checked the voltage right out of the packaging and the first was about 8.1V so I figured hey lets give it a try...HOLY poo!! I am blown away with the performance of my truck. Ran it for about 4-5 min. so as to not allow it to get low on voltage. So now here's my question, when I charged the pack everything seemed fine except my charger peaked at around 2400mah..Is this normal for a new batt.? And am I correct in assuming the capacity will increase with a few cycles? Thanks in advance..Bob in NJ

your charger is telling you how much it put back in the battery not what the capacity of the pack is....... Cool

ahh...thanks again. Also on my charger, a Venom Pro Plus, it has several modes for lipos. Charge, balance, fast charge, store, and discharge. Should I be running the charge mode and then the balance mode?

using balance mode will increase the longevity of your batteries, use it all the time as drt dwg suggested. Read your instructions so that you properly balance charge them, some guy (me) thought he was balancing his batteries by hooking up the balance plug, but did not know that I needed to put the charger in balance mode in order to balance. What will happen is that your cells will get out of balance, not good. Be sure to balance and you will be happy with them for quite a while. Very Happy
